Still Waters

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 19, 2026

Still Waters ("Still Waters," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by On Target Strategic, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Still Waters application and website at https://still-waters-soul.lovable.app (the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

Still Waters is a faith-based emotional support application. You share how you are feeling, and the Service responds with a matched scripture, a personal prayer, and a reflection, and lets you save the experience to a private journal. The Service is not a medical, clinical, or crisis service. See our Terms of Service and Section 9 below.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a password, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase). You may also enter an optional church access code.

Emotional inputs. When you use the Service you share how you feel, by text or by voice. This may include sensitive personal information about your emotional or spiritual state.

Voice audio. If you use voice input, your speech is transcribed to text. Transcription may occur in your browser (Web Speech API) or, as a fallback, through OpenAI's Whisper service.

Healing journal entries. If you choose to save a session, we store the emotion you expressed, the scriptures shown, the prayer, your reflection answers, and whether you later mark a prayer as answered.

Usage information. We collect basic usage data such as the number of prompts you use in a month (to apply your monthly limit), timestamps, and general activity needed to operate the Service.

Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment, and we store only your subscription status and the identifiers needed to manage it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Generate the scripture, prayer, and reflection response for each session.
  • Save and display your healing journal so you can return to it.
  • Manage your account, subscription, free trial, and monthly usage limit.
  • Maintain the security of the Service and improve it.
  • Communicate with you about the Service.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here.

Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted providers to operate the Service:

  • Supabase for database, authentication, and storage.
  • Anthropic (Claude API) to generate the response. Your emotional input is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the scripture, prayer, and reflection. We share only what is needed to generate the response.
  • API.Bible to retrieve scripture text.
  • OpenAI (Whisper) for voice transcription fallback, when used.
  • Stripe for payment processing.

Sponsoring churches. If your access is connected to a sponsoring church, that church receives only anonymous, aggregate usage metrics (for example, how often members engage overall). We never share your identity, your emotional inputs, or your journal content with any church. Your private moments stay private.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.

5. Artificial Intelligence

The Service uses artificial intelligence (the Claude API) to generate responses from your input. AI responses are for spiritual encouragement and are not professional, medical, or clinical advice. Your input is processed to create the response as described in Section 4.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase and protected with row level security, so that you can access only your own records. We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep your journal entries and account information until you delete them or close your account, or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may view, export, or delete your journal entries and your account. To make a request, contact us at michael@ontargetstrategic.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will honor those rights as required.

9. Crisis Situations

If your input suggests a crisis, the Service surfaces the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and encourages you to seek immediate help. The Service is not a crisis line, medical service, or substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and Analytics

The Service may use cookies or similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. If we add analytics, we will update this Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will notify you.
