Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Still Waters application and website at https://still-waters-soul.lovable.app (the "Service"), operated by On Target Strategic, LLC ("Still Waters," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Still Waters Is, and Is Not

Still Waters is a faith-based emotional encouragement tool. You share how you are feeling, and the Service responds with a matched scripture, a personal prayer, and a reflection you can save to a private journal.

Still Waters is NOT therapy, counseling, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. It does not provide professional, medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

2. Medical and Crisis Disclaimer

The Service is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in crisis, contact a licensed professional, call or text the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 if you are in immediate danger. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Plan and price. Still Waters is offered on a subscription basis at $7 per month, following a 7-day free trial, unless a different offer is stated to you at signup.

Free trial. If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, your paid subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled.

Usage limit. Your subscription includes up to 30 prompts per calendar month. This limit supports the devotional pace of the Service and helps us manage costs.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.

6. Church Access and Sponsorship

Some users access the Service through a sponsoring church using an access code. Where a church sponsors members, a portion of each member's subscription may be shared with that church. Churches receive only anonymous, aggregate usage metrics and never your identity, inputs, or journal content.

7. AI-Generated Content

Responses in the Service, including scripture selections, prayers, and reflections, are generated with the help of artificial intelligence. They are offered for spiritual encouragement, may not always be accurate or complete, and are not professional, medical, or clinical advice. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

8. Your Content

You own the journal entries and reflections you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your private journal content to train external models.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, using it for unlawful purposes, or interfering with other users.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content we provide (excluding your own content and third party scripture text), is owned by On Target Strategic, LLC and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any particular emotional or spiritual outcome will result from its use.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, On Target Strategic, LLC and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless On Target Strategic, LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
